Open House

Imagine being arrowed to present your project for Open House. Wouldn’t have been that bad if your project wasn’t something like.. second life?

Not only are we presenting the most boring shit in the whole of TP, we are presenting it in a room with fucked up air-conditioning (read previous post) and a totally shitty internet connection.

In a “SPECIALIST” lab of “INFOTECH SCHOOL”, the network is so shitty you can get at best 600kbps connection with a minimum of 250ms ping. For those of you who don’t know how slow that is, imagine youtube loading a 10 mins clip in 2 hours.

Do they have any idea how fucking disgraceful it was presenting second life in that lab? it wouldn’t have been that bad if we were given a better shithole to present SL in.

Apparently, the OH comm. likes secondlife alot. There is a serious generation gap if thats the way they think, because apparently none of the secondary school kids were amused with SL. In fact, they think its outdated and lame, and “no life”. Bloody obstinate old fogeys.

The other group presenting SL were no better partners. One was busy being engrossed in his secondlife, another doesn’t know what the fuck is going on, and the last one is obsessed with shooting random cockshit arrows and totally didn’t present anything he was supposed to (which, by any chance, is not that STUPID archery ‘lame excuse for a game’.)

Congratulations, TP just turned off about 800+ secondary school students with the crapshit air-conditioning in the lab and the slowpoke internet connection.

Capacity “Not” Enough

When the air-con is down for a ’short duration’ (12+ weeks), you can only say that the routine checks are fucked up.

When the air-con is down for a ’short duration’ (12+ weeks), and you have to call every now and then (daily) for the techs to check the system, you can only say that the air-con is fucked up.

When the air-con is down for a ’short duration’ (12+ weeks), and you have to call every now and then (daily) for the techs to check the system, and they come in and fiddle with the vent and then walk out without saying anything, you can only say that their work attitude is fucked up.

When the air-con is down for a ’short duration’ (12+ weeks), and you have to call every now and then (daily) for the techs to check the system, and they come in and fiddle with the vent and then walk out without saying anything, and it so happens that one day before OPEN HOUSE that the tech tells you “probably the capacity is not enough”, then TP IS SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP.

Seriously, what the hell?
